The version for Bosch Gen 4 (450 ; 490) connects via the PowerPort connector. Since this connection is only available on Bosch 4th generation motors, it can only be connected to this. Note that the PowerPort connector must first be activated (using the Bosch Diagnostic Tool) in order to output voltage. The PowerPort connection has been specially developed for additional devices such as the BikeTrax GPS tracker and is the technically better variant.

However, if the PowerPort connector is already occupied by another accessory, you can still use the Bosch Universal version and connect it via the display connector, as this version works for all Bosch motors (except Gen4 Smart System 2022).

The GPS Tracker is integrated with the integrated SIM card in the EU-wide data network. This means that you can view the location coordinates of your e-bike at any time in the EU. In case of theft or unauthorized use, the GPS system is activated and an alarm is immediately sent to your smartphone. Whichever EU country you are in.

The transfer of GPS data is realized via GPRS and GSM. For the first year, BikeTrax takes over the data transfer costs. At the end of the first free year, the data transfer fee is €3.95 per month. There is no contract.
