While the top is closed, the pet still has full visibility and breathing room while comfortably in its Cocoon. The dome opens in the center to fold out or can be removed. The basket comes with a carrying strap, leash clip and rain cover. The carrying strap can be converted into a handle for both shoulder and hand use. The basket has a safety belt connection point to secure as a car seat, meets airline requirements in the cabin or can be used as a dog bike basket (in combination with the DutchDog Britch). The Cocoon bicycle basket dog comes in three sizes, size L, XL and an extra large XXL version. In general, the L version is for dogs up to 5.4 kg, the XL up to 9 kg and the XXL version up to 12 kg.

2. The Cocoon Britch (option):
Unique, platform supported pet bike basket carrier that is not mounted on the handlebars. The Britch (including Basket Bracket) is one product that you can set up for mounting on the front of the bicycle, or behind the bicycle.
Why handlebar-free? Bicycle handlebar baskets are not designed to carry pets, but are intended to hold a bag or box. Imagine that you are transported in something that constantly swings to the left and right, that is what your dog will experience with a basket on the handlebars. The Britch is rigidly attached to the frame of the bicycle and therefore moves tightly in the forward direction and therefore does not rock back and forth, which is much more pleasant for the animal.
Why platform supported? If the basket is not supported on a platform, the bottom will sag, causing a nauseous feeling. So a sagging basket on the handlebars is a double whammy for nausea.The Cozy Cocoon is your little dog's new haven.
