The Shimano D03S Resin are soft brake pads with an organic compound. Organic brake pads consist of soft materials. These brake pads thus provide excellent dosability and good braking power. Due to the soft compound, this block also engages quickly. In addition, the organic compound ensures that these brake pads make little noise while driving.
The disadvantage of organic brake pads is that they are less able to withstand higher temperatures, which can occur during long descents, for example. Organic brake pads also wear out more when you ride a lot in muddy conditions.
In short, if you mainly use the bicycle in the summer and cycle in the Netherlands in particular, then you have the perfect choice with these organic brake pads.
